Though it feeds off the darkness, the land is completely dead of all and any life that lay within it. The dead coat the floor, bones have dried and a mere vibration of ones steps would cause it to fade into dust. The little sun that does get to the lands is normally in the late afternoon hours, showing any and all who live there just what the lands are made of. Nothing. The woodland is dead, trees having no life are mere branches and empty of all souls that use to roam. Mortuus use to be vibrant and full of colour however, it appears now that whatever life it had was drained. Finding food and water is more likely to be taking place during the sunlight in the mid afternoon hours, the sun gives light to hidden paths that lead to a lush field that hides deep within the woodland walls, surrounded by it's dead trees and around the outside rests brown, wilted grass.
